What customers complain about in Google reviews

Repma is a digital employee named Badr. After you connect Google Business Profile, he replies to Google reviews and sorts complaints, praise, and wishes into business areas. The owner opens Complaints and sees what bothers guests. Badr reads text from the last 30 days in Asia/Riyadh, not the archive. Google stars do not change, and Repma does not promise a map rank. The 7-day trial needs a card and can be cancelled anytime, from 119 SAR per location per month.

What does the owner see?

The owner sees which part of the business bothers guests, which part they praise, and what they ask for, without sorting Google reviews by hand.

  • Serious cases, and guests who say they will not come back, sit at the top, with the review behind them
  • A named employee is one person, not a word cloud, including Arabic spellings such as داود and داوود or أحمد and احمد, split or joined
  • The number is a count of reviews. A long review does not inflate it. One review counts once in an area
  • It works for one location and for many. The core service follows that location’s Google category, not restaurants only
  • The public Google reply stays polite and includes no gift. The operational truth stays with the owner

How does a complaint reach an area?

After you connect Google Business Profile, reviews arrive, and Badr reads the last 30 days of text in Asia/Riyadh in the guest’s language.

  1. Connect Google Business Profile
  2. Reviews arrive for the location
  3. Badr reads the original text from the last 30 Asia/Riyadh days, not Google’s translation, and separates a complaint from praise and from a wish
  4. The owner opens Complaints and sees the area, serious cases, and who wrote that they will not return
  5. The Google reply stays free of gifts, discounts, and unconfirmed fault

Which areas are counted?

Badr places each point in one area, and the core service follows that location’s Google category.

  • Staff and service: kindness, respect, attention, and a person named in the review
  • Waiting time and pace
  • The core service for this Google category: food and drinks, wash and care result, repair, treatment and result, medical care, training and equipment, products, transport, rooms and stay. A report across locations with different categories says Main service
  • Cleanliness and hygiene
  • Price and value
  • Place and atmosphere: space, toilets, parking, noise, temperature
  • Ordering, booking, and payment: the order, a booking, an appointment, payment, delivery, opening hours, and a wrong or missing order
  • General impression with no concrete point
  • Other, when something concrete fits no area

General impression and Other never sit above a concrete area. A wish counts only when the guest asks for something the complaint does not already name. A wish is not a complaint.

Do the stars decide the complaint?

Stars do not decide the complaint. A complaint inside a 5-star review stays a complaint, and the Google stars stay 5.

A guest leaves 5 stars, praises the coffee, and writes that the table was not clean. Complaints counts the cleanliness complaint. The public reply thanks the guest and promises no gift and no discount. A mild sentence about a real shortcoming stays a complaint.

What is serious, and who will not return?

A serious case in Repma is limited to four kinds, carries its own mark, and has no second secret severity.

  • Health or safety: shared or dirty utensils, insects, hair, poisoning, injury
  • Damage to the guest’s property
  • Discrimination or harassment
  • Suspected fraud

“Will not return” counts only when the guest writes that they will not come back, or warns others. That signal appears only on Complaints, not on the dashboard cards.

How does the count change across periods?

The figure is a difference in the number of reviews, on the Asia/Riyadh clock, and green means fewer complaints.

  • Periods: today, yesterday, the last 7 days, and the last month
  • Today, yesterday, and 7 days compare with an equal window just before
  • The month compares its two halves, because text older than 30 Asia/Riyadh days is not read
  • If the comparison window still has an unread text, no change is shown, so a false worsening is not displayed

While text in the selected period is still being read, the owner sees one sentence: the breakdown is being prepared. No partial counts, no progress bar, and no “3 of 10”.

The green box “No complaints in this period” appears only when every condition holds: there are reviews, reading is finished, no review names a problem, no review has 1 to 3 stars, nobody says they will not return, and the report is not cut off.

The dashboard shows the short view of the same period: how many reviews contain a complaint, in red once that number is above zero, a mark for serious cases, and beside it how many reviews contain praise. The breakdown by area, named staff, wishes, and “will not return” stay in Complaints.

What do Complaints not do?

Complaints does not change Google stars, and it does not promise a place on the map.

What is read is review text from the last 30 days in Asia/Riyadh. Older text is not split into areas.

A review made only of stars, or only of an emoji with no words, is not read as a complaint.

Complaints is not an unanswered list, and it is not a slider for topics or sensitivity.

Topic filters on the reviews page are a different tool. They are not the complaint areas.

The weekly email is still the older English report. Complaints is not inside that email.

Complaints is not a new subscription. It is part of the same Repma access from 119 SAR per location per month, in the trial and in the paid plan. Suspended-profile recovery stays 599 SAR per location, charged only on success.

The public reply stays Badr’s existing work: Saudi White Dialect for Arabic text, English for English text, with no gift, no discount, no admission of fault, and no rank promise. Complaints does not replace the reply. It shows the owner which part of the operation was meant, while the Google reply stays short.
